What does Green-Builds do?

Green-Builds is an outdoor living specialist. We design and build bespoke residential and commercial outdoor spaces, from dedicated cooking and seating areas to complete outdoor transformations. We handle the groundworks, structures, and landscaping as one project, with one point of contact.

Where do you work?

Is the consultation free?

Yes. The initial conversation and the site consultation are entirely free.

How soon will you respond?

We respond to all enquiries within one working day.

Can you help design the space as well as build it?

Yes. We start by asking how you want to use the space. From there, we explore layouts, materials, and features, providing a concept and a clear scope of works before any construction begins.

What if we do not know what to do with the garden?

You do not need a finished design to get started. Our strength is looking at an unused or outdated space and seeing what it could become. We walk the garden with you, discuss your lifestyle, and suggest ideas that fit the area.

Do you take on standalone patios, pergolas or outdoor kitchens?

Yes. Every feature we offer is available as a standalone project or as part of a complete outdoor transformation.

How much will it cost?

Start with a free site consultation to discuss what you want to achieve and the budget you have in mind. We look at the space, access, materials and construction needed. Once the design and what is included are agreed, you receive a detailed written quotation and proposed programme before you approve the work.

Can you work around our budget?

Yes. Tell us the budget you have in mind when you enquire. This helps us suggest realistic materials, layouts, and phasing options that align with what you want to achieve.

Can a project be completed in stages?

Yes. If you prefer to manage the budget over time or minimise disruption, we can often phase the work. For example, we might complete the groundworks and patio first, and add a pergola or outdoor kitchen later.

How long will the work take?

You receive a proposed programme with your written quotation before you approve the work, so you can see the expected timing before deciding. Tell us your preferred timeframe when you enquire. Once you approve the proposal, we agree a start date.

Who manages the different trades?

We do. Instead of you finding and coordinating a landscaper, a builder, and an electrician, Green-Builds manages the entire project. You get one point of contact from start to finish.

Do you supply the materials?

Yes. Green-Builds organises the materials, suppliers and trades for your project, so you do not have to arrange them yourself. We explore material options as the design develops, with one point of contact through to completion.

Can you handle groundworks, drainage and electrics?

Yes. Green-Builds brings the groundworks, drainage, power and water services together with the rest of the build. You have one point of contact for the work beneath the surface as well as the finished space. At your free site consultation, we look at access and the practical requirements.

Can kitchens, pergolas and garden rooms be part of the same project?

Yes. Your kitchen, pergola and garden room can be designed and built together, around how you want to cook, gather, work or relax outside. Do we need planning permission?

How disruptive will the work be?

Use the free site consultation to talk through access and how you use the space day to day. We discuss the practical requirements and provide a proposed programme before you approve the work. We can also explore phasing to fit the project around your priorities.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. Green-Builds carries £5m public liability insurance for all residential and commercial projects.
